Monsoons in Kolkata are challenging, all the more with humidity, water clogging, sudden and frequent downpour. Traffic jams add to the misery. Particularly towards South Kolkata, which is expanding by leaps and bounds over the last couple of years. The foul smell that we get from wet and semi wet clothes seems like punishment, isn’t it ? And it won’t go until sun dried. You must have experienced all what has been listed above. But problems and solutions are two sides of the same coin. Let’s see how we can solve it best this season:-

Trust Fabycare

This is the easiest thing to do, as you already know thoroughly about us. All you have to do is to WhatsApp or call for pickup and get your fresh clothes delivered back. As mentioned earlier, we have infrastructure for differential treatment of clothes for different seasons and occasions. But you must know other ways or options for your safety and well being during the rainy season.

Do not dump wet clothes into washing machine

Wet clothes when dumped get bacteria multiplied to create a foul odour, and if kept longer is attracted by fungus, which are harmful for your skin as well. Dry them in open space instead where ventilation is available and then wash them to get perfect result. If stained by mud, then it’s better to completely dry them and dry brush the mud stains first and them soak them to water.

Use Camphor, Vinegar or Baking Soda

All the above three work as de-odorizing agents, and are least harmful. They are instead consumed in food, though little in amount. When using either one of them, it’s bound to give you effective result. Baking Soda and Vinegar also removes stubborn stains off clothes.

Use a good smelling Detergent

Alternatively you can also use a good smelling detergent to revive those wet clothes and remove them of odour. They are easily available in all market places. Read the instructions before using them to get the best possible result.
